Prioritize Your Health: Join Our Employee Wellness Programme

A healthy body leads to a productive mind. That’s why our Employee Physical Wellness Programme is here to help all staff members adopt healthier habits and improve their overall well-being.

Why Physical Wellness Matters

Physical wellness is one of the most accessible wellness programmes for employees. We engage in daily movements such as walking around the office or taking stretch breaks. However, without structure or tracking, these activities may not provide noticeable benefits. BQA Physical Wellness Programme offers employees a more organized approach to fitness, helping them achieve measurable results.

The programme focuses on weight loss, muscle gain, endurance, flexibility, balance, and strength training. It also emphasises healthy nutrition, illness prevention, and management of chronic conditions, as prescribed by healthcare professionals. Regular exercise can help improve mood by releasing endorphins, lower stress, improve mood, and enhance one’s sense of well-being, boost energy levels, and lead to better sleep. Ultimately, a healthy employee is a happier and more productive one.

Benefits of Regular Exercise

  • Mood improvement: Exercise promotes the release of endorphins, which enhance one’s mood, reduce stress, alleviate pain and enhance sense of well-being.

  • Increased energy: Staying active helps one feel more energized during the day.

  • Better sleep: Regular physical activity can improve sleep patterns.

  • Healthier habits: Engaging in the programme helps reduce unhealthy snacking, lower sugar intake, and encourage regular movement.

Fun Fitness Challenges and Activities

To keep things fun and engaging, the BQA Fitness Team organises challenges and group workouts. One of the recent events was the Biggest Loser Challenge, which ran for three months. Fifteen participants took part, and the winner lost an impressive 9kg during the competition. Regular group activities such as weekend runs, after-work walks, and workouts are also held, fostering both fitness and social connections among employees.

Our training sessions include:

  • Functional training: Focuses on core workouts, weight loss, and body mass management.

  • Aerobic sessions: Designed to improve cardiovascular health.

  • Strength and conditioning: Builds muscular and cardiorespiratory endurance.
