Procurement Oversight Division

The Procurement Oversight is the Division within Botswana Qualifications Authority charged with maintaining oversight over the procurement within the Authority and is tasked with ensuring that the procurement procedures mandated by the Act are complied with, monitoring and reporting on the functioning of the procurement system.

The Division’s key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining procurement processes
  • Ensuring compliance with the Public Procurement Act,2021 and its Regulations are adhered to
  • Publish selection and award criteria
  • Contract management
  • Compliance to the annual procurement plan
  • Effective tender management
