Institutional Audit Division

The Division is tasked with coordination of institutional audits and compliance management of the regulated entities to quality assure systems, processes and practices of Education and Training Providers, Awarding Bodies and Assessment Centres. Through these activities BQA ascertains compliance with the BQA Act, Regulations and Quality Standards to promote delivery of quality, competitive and internationally recognised education and training.

The Division undertakes the following activities:

  • Statutory Audits
  • Monitoring Audits
  • Investigative Audits
  • Learner and ETP complaints management (Protection of Enrolled Learners)
  • Evaluation of Annual Reports
  • Development of Policies, Guidelines and Instruments 
  • Capacity Building on Compliance Issues
